In a recent interview with BT Sport, Paul Heyman addressed his ongoing social media feud with Conor McGregor. It started after The advisor to Roman Reigns claimed the UFC champion tries to imitate the ‘Tribal Chief’ in the ring, as ‘The Notorious’ has a habit of flapping his dual belts around, before the audience. Both men carry a sense of pride and machismo with their belts.

However, Paul Heyman felt that McGregor was no match for his client. Therefore, The Irishman had to pick fights with an out-of-shape elderly wise man. He said, “(Conor McGregor) is a Roman Reigns wannabe, did the Paul Heyman style, you know title on each shoulder and gave a shout-out to himself, of course, he did.”

The 57-year-old didn’t mind the antics and concluded, “And that’s okay because I like the little guy. He’s funny to me, like a clown. You know… like a clown. He’s here for my amusement.”

Therefore, Heyman accused McGregor of being ‘all bark and no bite’ with his threatening tweet and labeled him a clown.

During the same interview, Paul Heyman commented on McGregor’s relevancy. The famous counselor has solidified his presence in the entertainment industry over the years. But, Heyman can’t say the same for ‘The Notorious’.

Paul Heyman said, “I appreciate the fact that I’m old enough to be number one and that I’m still thriving on top. I would like to see if Conor McGregor at 57, still thriving at the very top of his entire industry, number one. We’ll see if he’s even relevant at 50. We’ll see if he even lives to 57 with his lifestyle…”

Therefore, with these statements, The Wiseman humiliated the former UFC champion on trash-talking grounds. It will be interesting to see McGregor responds to these comments in the near future.
