Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya have patched up

It created quite the buzz in the MMA world when two fighters who made headlines with their beef for over two years made news with a display of friendship. The pair made up at a Las Vegas hotel after bumping into each other. A video of the two fighters sparring in a friendly exchange was shared by Adesanya on his Instagram page, surprising fans.

The long-standing rift between the two UFC superstars has its roots back in 2020 when the two started trading barbs over social media. With the increasing comparison between them, the trash talk had taken high gear. Fans had been waiting for them to take their grudge to the cage. However, their latest interaction saw the fighters come to a resolution outside it.

Jones wrote on Instagram, ”We need more of this! Life’s too short to not be able to squash beef and get along with the homie. It was a real pleasure kicking it with the middleweight champion @stylebender last night. Wish my man nothing but the best moving forward #respect.”

The Rock replied, ”Great to see this, and well said, brother. Life’s too short.
Leaders lead. Gratitude and joy 💪🏾” and the rest of the world witnessed the utter beauty of the sport.
