Jake Gyllenhaal, who has won countless awards and even more hearts for his roles like ‘Mysterio’, ‘Lou Bloom’, and ‘Billy Hope’, talked about Rousey’s strength while appearing on ‘The Conan Show.’ When asked by show host Conan O’Brien if he would last in a match with Ronda Rousey, Gyllenhaal was quick to respond, “That’s it. It’s done. It’s over!”
Ronda Rousey would beat Gyllenhaal, but he is no weakling
While Gyllenhaal is right, that Rousey would easily defeat him, fans must not underestimate the Hollywood star’s strength. Conan shared an image from the movie ‘Southpaw’, for which Gyllenhaal trained like a beast. He trained for over six hours each day and also spent most of his downtime working out; essentially, he spent five entire months inside a gym.

In fact, Conan said it best when he said, “You transform yourself for every film you do. You’re a great actor, but you also change your body. When you did Southpaw, we have a picture of you from that movie. You got in sick shape, insane shape – How long do you think you will last in the ring, Jake Gyllenhaal in that shape versus Ronda Rousey!?” Of course, fans are by now aware of Gyllenhaal’s hilarious reply.
