AEW president has recently decided to feud with a popular sports journalist, Ariel Helwani. Helwani is a renowned MMA journalist. However, due to some subjective opinions, he is not much appreciated by a lot of MMA associates and fighters. A similar attack was attempted on him a few days ago. However, this wasn’t by some MMA personality, but by a person in the pro-wrestling community. Tony Khan, the president and CEO of AEW (All Elite Wrestling) has taken his turn to take it up a notch with the journalist.

Although the talented journalist wasn’t waiting for his actions to be validated by a WWE legend, the support surely adds to the story. As his podcast companion tells him about the cause and occurrence of the feud, Flair gives out a chuckle. He then proceeds by saying, “everybody wants to be with WWE. I don’t blame Ariel at all.” Flair seems to relate to the situation that Helwani has found himself in. Although he mentions his perspective jokingly, there seems to be no change of opinion afterward. In fact, the legend wasn’t even up-to-date about the feud until he was told about it during the podcast. “I can only look at this sh*t so much,” said Flair about all the potential online feuds.

How did Ariel Helwani find himself in this situation?

The popular sports journalist specializes in the field of MMA. However, the infamous reporter has recently taken the opportunity to enter the world of wrestling as well. Although he doesn’t consider it a real job, and in fact, just for fun, him being at the WWE’s official events, holding their mic, and speaking for them, hurt Tony Khan a bit too much. AEW’s CEO tweeted about him being upset with the journalist a few days ago.
