While many people look towards Conor McGregor and Brock Lesnar as the people who made the company noticeable in the public’s eye, people should give some credit to Diaz as well.

While McGregor was a driving force for people buying the tickets, Diaz was also a big factor in their money-making fights in the UFC. Their two bouts rank in the top three of the most tickets sold matches in UFC history. Not only that, but their match also ranks above Brock Lesnar, who brought MMA and wrestling fans together.

This UFC legend thinks Nate Diaz will never join WWE, but why?

While talking about Nate Diaz’s inclusion in WWE, UFC Legend, Chael Sonnen said, “The reason I’m telling you that’s never going to happen, the WWE is the Scum of the Earth. but they’re very good at getting attention, so the fact that the WWE told us that they’re talking with Nate means they have absolutely no intent of doing anything with Nate. They have already won. They have the headlines, they got the dialogue, it cost a grand total of nothing…”

“But that’s also a clue. You have any star that’s ever gone to the WWE that you were told ahead of time. It’s on the moment, it’s live, it’s a surprise and you would see why. It doesn’t really work to say we’re working with this guy, and then you bring him in. Then you let them know the script, right? At some point, the entertainment and the kayfabe have to collide.”

This is the reason why people don’t think Serena Williams or Conor McGregor will ever enter the company as well. Over the years, the amount of times the company has talked about talking to these legends about a WWE career is plenty. But the possibility of one happening in real life is becoming bleaker and bleaker as the day goes by.
