Nate Diaz is a man who had a massive career in the UFC. Fighting for 15 years in the company, he was already a legend in the business. Also, he featured in the top two matches that garnered the most ticket sales in the company’s history. His feud with Conor McGregor completely changed the landscape of the UFC and brought him mainstream recognition. But he made a massive move and everyone is wondering what is ahead for the Stockton native.

While people were talking about him starting a new promotion or signing a deal with other MMA promotions, there are also speculations about his joining WWE. It is no surprise that UFC stars are more accustomed to making a shift to WWE than any other martial arts. Shayna Baszler, Ronda Rousey, and Ken Shamrock are excellent examples.

UFC legend discusses the way WWE will utilize Nate Diaz

Retired MMA fighter, Chael Sonnen talked about the next move for Nate Diaz. In the video, he said, “We’re told that WWE is interested in Nate Diaz. Now, you’re never gonna see Nate Diaz do anything with the WWE. Never, not something that’s paid. They might give him the ticket and they might flash the camera to him.”

“And when he gets there that night for his free seat, maybe someone comes and says hey we’re even gonna work into the cameras. If you want to, this guy’s going to come over and talk to you. But that’s not paid, that’s not a contract, that’s not some kind of agreement.

As per Sonnen, the wrestling promotion might just be gaining more limelight from its association with Diaz.

While there have been many instances of WWE doing the exact same thing before, fans hope that WWE could get the younger Diaz brother to join WWE. Not only is he a terrific fighter, but he also has a celebrity aura. Just like Rousey, he could become a great deal in the company.

Adding to that fantasy booking, a match with Nate Diaz and Brock Lesnar would sell lots and lots of tickets. Also, there are talks about getting Conor McGregor to join the company as well. Getting these two big box office talents in his company, Triple H can make magic.
