CM Punk has finally gotten his super hot ego cooled off at SummerSlam 2024. Nevertheless, it was the Scotsman’s turn to return the favor to the PLE. Tonight on Raw, the Second City Saint came in front of the crowd and cut a confident promo as if nothing went wrong for him.

However, to change up things for a bit, the former AEW star started his speech off by heaping congratulations on the UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad. What’s the hook behind it? Let’s scoop out.

CM Punk has had a futile career in MMA. He responded to his heart’s calling by entering the Octagon but soon realized his limited potential with the sport. Despite the stint being significantly short and non-productive, Punk came close with some MMA entities whom he developed a good rapport with. One of them was Belal Muhammad. The 36-year-old got the chance to spar with Punk during their tenure together and the camaraderie went beyond. He gave a shout-out to Punk on Instagram, saying his dad was all into the WWE star throughout his life. Now, Punk gave him back the love and appreciation after the UFC star’s accomplishment recently.

Belal Muhammed triumphed over Leon Edwards to clinch the welterweight title at UFC 304. Post which he earned acclaim from the combat sports community, including the Second City Saint.

The UFC star quickly noticed it and sent an endearing message to his closest paul.

CM Punk is already looking forward to his WrestleMania expedition

CM Punk didn’t lose his mojo. At least, that is what he has shown to the world. The former AEW star came to the ring with his usual over-the-top persona and showed gratitude for his injury recovery. He said he was happy to be back before the stipulated nine months. Although a tough sob called Drew Mclntyre caught him off guard in Cleveland last Sunday, he’s still standing. And today he came to settle the dust with his arch nemesis once again.

The controversial superstar noted that his WrestleMania journey started from here (SummerSlam) while most people initiated to walk on that path after January. He called out the Scotsman and ended up having a tiff with a furious Seth Rollins. A belligerent segment followed.
