Ronda Rousey is one of the most brutal wrestlers in WWE right now, male or female. But where does this ferocity and resilience come from? Well, of course, through her stint in the UFC and her MMA training and bouts outside Dana White’s company. While Rousey only held the big title in the UFC women’s division for 12 fights, we should never underestimate her influence.

Leaving her dream of winning the Gold at the Olympics for Judo, Rousey trained for MMA. And after a lot of setbacks, she was able to compete in MMA bouts. But after seeing the attraction that Rousey garnered, White was ready to introduce the women’s roster of the UFC to the world.
Not only was she the reason for women fighting in the UFC’s Octagon, but she was also the first women’s champion in the company as well. While she lost to Holly Holm after retaining the title several times, she made her presence known in the sports industry.

So after Rousey tweeted about the recent women’s bout, fans tweeted all about her influence in the comments.

If we take away the influence of Rousey, the UFC women’s division would not be at the same level it is right now.

It’s amazing to look back at the moment when Ronda was working in the UFC and compare it to the way MMA is right now. Nothing is different, only people are working extra work to be at the top.

While she might have been the pioneer and trailblazer in the UFC during her time, she has been doing the same work in WWE right now.
You coming back to the UFC?

While the plain and simple answer might be no, Ronda has also shown no interest in hinting a return to MMA after her 13 fights.

It’s an enormous achievement for the UFC Women’s division to be a topic of discussion even after Ronda’s exit from the company. This just goes to show that women can be as entertaining in sports as much as men.
