When it comes to UFC fighters who are successful WWE superstars, Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey surely make the cut. Although ‘The Beast Incarnate’ was in WWE before joining UFC, he made a name in MMA before his massive return to the Stamford-based promotion. 

Recently, Joe Rogan and Ric Flair put the ‘Baddest Women on the Planet’ over The Beast. Also, the UFC commentator talked about Lesnar’s fight against Alistair Overeem.

Ric Flair appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience and the duo discussed a lot of things. While talking about Charlotte Flair as one of the female wrestlers who impacted WWE’s women’s roster, Ronda Rousey’s name came up. 

Rogan quickly said, “She’s the most successful to ever go over from MMA other than Brock. Brock started at pro wrestling, but she’s the most successful, right? By transition.”

Furthermore, Flair added, “Yeah, far. Yep. Brock number one, her number two…They earn their keep.  I think sometimes the talent because jealous of people just come in and out and all that. Well, Ronda and Brock are paid the price. I mean, what are you gonna say? Yeah. It’s Ronda Rousey motherf**ker. Okay, it was Brock Lesnar. 

There are several stars in WWE who have had successful MMA careers but in other companies. Lesnar and Ronda were the top fighters in UFC and are also the top stars in WWE after their transition.

Rousey never went back to the octagon after leaving UFC until now. However, The Conqueror had his last fight with Mark Hunt five years after losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141.

The podcast host shed light on Lesnar ‘flirting a couple of times’ with coming back to UFC. Rogan shared ‘The Beast’ loves pro wrestling but he loves MMA too. As per the UFC commentator if it wasn’t for diverticulitis Lesnar would have given Overeem a tough fight.

Rogan said, “If wasn’t for that diverticulitis where you had to get I think he got like six inches of his intestines removed, which is a f**king major surgery….Alistair Overeem came in they look like a f**king science project and kick Brock in the stomach, like right where he’d had the surgery and it was rough.”

While being with WWE, Lesnar hinted at a fight against Daniel Cormier. However, even though a face-off the fight never happened, but in 2020 DC stated that he would love to face The Beast in WWE at WrestleMania someday.
