There is a reason that people in WWE and UFC call Brock Lesnar a beast. It isn’t just that he looks like one, but the man also carries himself like the monster that everyone should be scared of. His dominance over the WWE and UFC divisions are a proof of this feared persona. There are very few people who could say that they took down the beast.

Seth Rollins, in his babyface era, called himself the Beast Slayer, to commemorate his win over Lesnar. But there have been times when Lesnar has shown visible fear and weakness. In his amazing promo work with The Undertaker, the Phenom regularly kept the Beast on a leash. But it seems like someone else wants to pull the leash of the Beast now.
MMA fighter proclaims that he can choke out Brock Lesnar
Demetrious Johnson, the current ONE Flyweight Champion, was asked if he could take out Brock Lesnar. Considering that Lesnar weighs more than double his own weight, Johnson replied, “I always say that size can be a huge factor, but his skills are nowhere near my level. So I’ll just blast-kick him in the liver. Liver kicks do all the damage.”
Then he went on to elaborate his strategy in the Octagon, saying, “So I’ll just blast kick, blast kick, back kick, and hopefully one of those shots puts a person down, man. It’s a liver shot. I mean, if you hit anyone in the right spot or in the liver. The liver ceases to function, and it shuts the whole body down and then choke him out.”

While his trick is sound and theoretically correct, the winner or loser in a match depends on the match itself. Seeing Johnson’s confidence and the way he utterly destroyed Lesnar verbally, it was clear that the Flyweight Champion believed he could take down Lesnar easily if he gets that one shot correct. It would be interesting to see such massive weight classes battle it out to prove if size matters or does technique cover up for it.
