UFC 244 saw the two stalwarts, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal go against each other for the prized title, BMF. A not-so-safe-for-work title, BMF stands for ‘Baddest Motherf***er in the Game’.
The fight saw two of UFC’s stars face off in an intense battle at the Madison Square Garden on 3rd November 2019. The conclusion saw, Masvidal coming up on top and defeating Diaz, to earn the title.
However, The Rock presenting the title to Masvidal did not sit well with Nate Diaz. He said, “F**k The Rock too man. That motherf***r over here playing me. I see him over here smiling with Masvidal. Should have Mike Tyson handing out a belt if anybody.”
Diaz continued that it should have Mike Tyson handing out the belt instead of The Rock. Diaz said, “Mike Tyson should have been here anyway, he’s the baddest man on the planet right?”

However, Diaz once blasted Dwayne Johnson after his latest controversial shoe deal with UFC and Under Armour as well. The Rock’s deal with UFC and Under Armour also found him under a lot of criticism after his deal led to a sad moment for the fighters, where they ended up not earning much from it.
What was the controversy between Dwayne Johnson and UFC fighters?
The Rock is a great actor and a top-notch businessman as well. Apart from acting, he has shown his expertise in business ventures as well. Recently, he joined hands and came into an unexpected partnership with the UFC. His venture with Under Armour, ‘Project Rock’ became the official footwear of the MMA promotion.
This caused a stir in the UFC locker room, as the deal meant minimal profits for the fighters.

Fighter Terrance McKinney took to Twitter and tagged The Rock. He let this concern known to the Hollywood star. UFC star, Nate Diaz was vocal enough and let his frustrations known on live TV.
However, several fans blamed Dana White for the decision, while McKinney requested Johnson to explain the situation and his lack of involvement in it.
Hey brotha @TheRock if you’re a fan of what we do make the deal favorable for the ones modeling your shoe I get it’s not your fault or your business doin it to us but show us the love you think you are. Get in our corner and support us 🙏🏾
