“King of Trolling”: Fans Glorify UFC Legend For Throwing Shade at John Cena

Hollywood star and former WWE Champion John Cena has a strong presence on social media. His Instagram account is full of posts that leave a lot of imagination, but the Cenation Leader uses his Twitter account to motivate and inspire his followers. However, one famous MMA personality has taken quite the objection to Cena’s tweets and has openly mocked him. This was the case yet again, after Cena posted another message for his followers on the micro blogging site.

During his WWE run, Cena preached people never to give up and was an inspirational figure. Even after his transition to Hollywood, The Champ remains humble as ever and tries his best to uplift people through social media.

But UFC and MMA icon Chael Sonnen has made it his purpose thus far to target Cena whenever he posts any such message on Twitter. In the past, Sonnen has called Cena’s tweets insipid and unnecessary. And now he was at it again with his latest troll of Cena on Twitter. The fans on social media were quick to react to this brutal mocking by the MMA legend.

Fans amused by Sonnen throwing shade at John Cena

During his WWE days, John Cena divided opinion among the fans and his peers. Slowly, with his dedication, he was able to turn around a lot of his critics. Now that he has become a Hollywood star, many fans and his peers respect him for what he has achieved.

Still, you can’t always please everyone and if there is a list of people who don’t like John Cena, Chael Sonnen would be close to the top of that list. The former UFC fighter hasn’t hidden his dislike for Cena’s tweets and has taken quite a few shots at him. Last month he called Cena’s messages insipid after The Peacemaker star posted an encouraging tweet. Sonnen replied, “CENA I need help. How do I prevent you from posting insipid messages? Advise, ChaCha.”

The Bad Guy was at it again after the Doctor of Thuganomics tweeted another motivational message. Cena wrote, “Find the strength to move on when needed. Most regret stems from choices made against our values. If it feels wrong, sounds wrong, and looks wrong…move onward.” And the former UFC fighter retweeted throwing shade as always. But this time it was wittier than his previous jibes.

Fans then commented on Sonnen’s tweet and glorified him for his humorous tweet.

Some fans weren’t sure why Sonnen was going after Cena.

A fan even proposed a match between the two stars.

Right now, as with every other Sonnen tweet, Cena hasn’t replied. The UFC legend continues to take shots at the 16-time World Champion and now the fans seem to be in on the fun. Fans would also love to hear from the Franchise Player himself and respond to Sonnen’s insults at least once.
