Looks like ever since Jake Hager quit Vince McMahon’s company, he found his real footing in the world of combat sports. Not everyone can be a well-versed mixed martial artist and be an active member in a wrestling promotion at the same time. And it looks like former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones took notice of that.

Jake Hager, fka Jack Swagger in WWE is currently signed with Tony Khan’s AEW where he wrestles alongside a faction called -The Inner Circle.

However, before coming to AEW, Hager excelled in MMA, where he was signed to Bellator MMA in the heavyweight division. Ever since making the transition, Hager stands as an undefeated Bellator heavyweight superstar.

“Breaking News!! I’m excited to announce I’ll be competing for the number one grappling organization in the world, Fury Grappling! December 9th I’ll be in New Jersey competing against WWE superstar and undefeated Bellator heavyweight Jack swagger” Bones wrote.

Looking at this, the former world champion took to Twitter and corrected the former UFC champion by saying that it is AEW and not WWE, and interestingly added that nothing has been discussed but he is open to offers.

“First of all it’s @AEWonTNT and undefeated @BellatorMMA heavyweight Jake Hager, secondly no terms have been discussed or contract signed. We can talk if terms are right.”

As of this writing, ‘Bones’ revealed that he will be in the same ring with Hager on December 9th of this year at ‘Fury Grappling’.
