Joe Rogan Was Not Wrong About Dwayne Johnson’s Steroid Use as WWE Legend Once Made a Life-Changing Confession

Dwayne Johnson is a role model to many aspiring bodybuilders and fitness freaks throughout the world. His training and diet routine is famous for being highly intense and difficult to keep up with.

Naturally, having a physique such as The Rock’s at 50 years is bound to come under scrutiny from time to time. Even though The Great One has talked about his jacked physique as a result of exercising and a natural diet, he did once admit to taking steroids when he was in college.

In an interview with MTV over a decade ago, the former WWE Champion made an admission about his using steroids around the time he was playing football for the University of Miami.

Some people have raised doubts over DJ’s impressive muscular build over the years and The Rock’s admission adds further weight to their argument.

Dwayne Johnson admitted to steroid use

Recently, Dwayne Johnson has found himself amidst steroid allegations from UFC color commentator Joe Rogan. Rogan on his podcast that The Rock should come clean and admit to using performance-enhancing drugs.

He said the Brahma Bull should be honest with his fans about his bulked physique. However, it turns out that DJ did admit to steroid use years ago in an interview.

In 2009, in an interview with MTV to promote his movie “Race to Witch Mountain”, the WWE star touched on a number of topics ranging from steroid use to setting an example for the young generation.

The $800 million worth of Hollywood actor also confessed to using steroids in college and shared his experience.

The Rock admitted, “I tried it. Me and my buddies tried it back in the day when I was 18 or 19. Didn’t know what we were doing.” The admission of the People’s Champion about using steroids could mean he was involved with it during his days as a collegiate football player for the University of Miami.

Over the years, the Black Adam actor has also stressed that he hasn’t used any steroids since that one time he mentioned. He has also said that he never used them again as it gave him gynecomastia.

It turns out Rogan wasn’t entirely wrong about DJ’s steroid use. Still, it seems he isn’t convinced that The Rock hasn’t used steroids since his college days. On his podcast, Rogan said “that’s crazy talk” if DJ is saying that he has taken steroids only once in his career.
