WWE Hall of Famer spotted at UFC Mexico

Recently, at UFC 298, notable WWE figures Bianca Belair, Montez Ford, and CM Punk made appearances. The UFC Fight Night took place on 24th February. The main event matchup was between Brandon Moreno vs Brandon Royval. However, adding to the WWE presence at UFC Mexico, a tweet from Fightful Wrestling highlighted the attendance of another WWE Hall of Famer. It is none other than Rey Mysterio, the greatest luchador of all time. He was seen having a good time at the UFC event. The caption reads, “That pop for Rey Mysterio at #UFCMexico.”

The Hall of Famer even got the UFC staff to acknowledge his presence with the announcer. “We got WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio here in the support,” he said. The presenter highlighted Mysterio’s support by attending the event in his home country. It’s crucial to note that Mysterio’s knee injury that he suffered in November has kept him inactive.

Michael Chandler issues challenge to Conor McGregor during Monday Night Raw

On the 19th of February edition of Monday Night RAW in Anaheim UFC fighter Michael Chandler made an appearance. He came and expressed his intention to challenge Conor McGregor. He said, “Now there’s a man from Ireland who has been making me wait for way too long.” Chandler then passionately promoted the show.

For more than a year Chandler has been calling out McGregor for a showdown. They were supposed to have a match when they were opposing trainers on The Ultimate Fighter. The confrontation between the lightweight fighters continues unabated, even if Dana White is unsure of what the future holds for McGregor’s fighting career. The inclusion of Chandler’s call-out on WWE’s platform shows a strategic crossover. It also adds intrigue to the match.
