Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson came out to support Joe Rogan after the U.S. podcaster clarified that he just wants to give a platform for free expression and will do his best to bring out a balanced perspective.

Recently, the longtime UFC commentator is entwined in a controversy because of some comments made by experts he invited on his podcast. Meanwhile, Rogan took the heat head-on and released his clarification on the allegations being made about his podcast.

‘The Rock’ praised Rogan for his efforts towards providing a great platform for free discussion on the burning topics of the world. He replied to Rogan’s video and even stated his desire to join Rogan on his podcast sometime later. “Great stuff here brother. Perfectly articulated. look forward to coming on one day and breaking out the tequila with you,” commented the former WWE champion.

Rogan has steadily worked his way to the top to become one of the most prominent voices in the world. Credits to his hugely popular podcast that is currently the number 1 podcast on Spotify. However, success doesn’t come without consequences.

Musicians such as Neil Young threatened music sharing company Spotify to remove his music from the platform if they don’t take action on Joe Rogan. However, the tables turned on Young as Spotify moved forward with Rogan and, in turn, removed him from the platform.

Joe Rogan wants ‘The Rock’ as President

In an edition of his podcast; comedian, podcast host, and UFC commentator, Joe Rogan stated he would love for ‘The Rock’ to get elected as the President of the United States.

This was during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. Rogan suggested that when things are really tough for the population, they need a great and charismatic leader. This was when his guest suggested that actor Dwayne Johnson would be the perfect fit.

Replying to his guest, Rogan said, “I’d vote for him. I’d get behind him 100 percent. I’m all in for The Rock… Right now, everyone loves ‘The Rock’. If he became president, 40 percent of people would immediately start hating him.”
