Ronda Rousey has been out of the squared circle for a while now. She was last seen running an indie circuit in November 2023. Since then, Rousey has been off the pro wrestling scenario. However, she recently resurfaced in the news after a source claimed something about her attitude towards the management heads at WWE.
According to the report obtained by the Wrestling Observer, The Rowdy One wasn’t a big fan of Vince McMahon while she was in the Stamford-based company. On the contrary, she apparently held her previous boss, Dana White, in high regard.

The Olympic-level martial artist entertained many fans with her appearances first in UFC and then in WWE. Due to her repetitive concussions, Rousey had to leave the MMA promotion. However, the reasons were not quite the same as to why she left WWE. Her differences with the leading wrestling promotion pushed her into walking out of the promotion.
Even while Rousey was a part of WWE’s active roster, she didn’t like the entire management team. A new report suggests that the former MMA star particularly didn’t like Mr. McMahon while she harbored respect for Dana White as a boss.
In the latest newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote, “Another person close to the situation noted that Rousey felt that WWE was a misogynistic culture and by the time she left, despised Vince but remained friendly with Stephanie and had positive things to say about Paul Levesque.” The story turned more intriguing when Meltzer further revealed, “It was also noted that while she despised Vince, ‘she, to this day, loves Dana White.’”
On the other hand, she appreciated Triple H and his leadership. Rowdy isn’t the only wrestler to have drawn a parallel between Levesque and his father-in-law.

Randy Orton probably doesn’t miss Vince McMahon’s regime either
In an interview about a month ago, Randy Orton was found talking about the changes that have been brought by in the workplace after Triple H came into power. If it weren’t for Hunter, Orton believes he may not have been able to work in WWE following his injury. Moreover, The Viper drew a parallel between the time when McMahon was in power and now that Levesque is primarily taking care of most of the management.
According to Randy Orton, the management now ‘cares’ about the talent in the company and has a greater sense of empathy when it comes to certain situations. This is something that the former WWE Champion appreciates about them. And the same might be true for Rousey as well, especially as the women’s division at the promotion continues to grow as time goes by.
