Former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion, Colby Covington finally defeated his best-friend-turned-foe, Jorge Masvidal, at UFC 272. However, it was something about his entrance, the fight, his way of calling out Dustin Poirier after the match, that the fight fans saw a potential WWE superstar in him.

Yes, you read it right. The internet wants ‘Chaos’ to join WWE after he’s done inside the octagon. The fans on the internet think that Covington will be a perfect heel in the pro-wrestling industry and WWE is the place where he would shine the most.

For his fight against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272, ‘Chaos’ came out with the American flag on his shoulder. However, what appealed to the WWE audience was that Covington used the famous theme song of Kurt Angle. Interestingly, when he made his entrance, the fight fans chanted “you s*ck, you s*ck” just like people did for Angle in WWE.

WWE can be the next home for Colby Covington

After his match with Masvidal, Covington boldly called out the former Interim Welterweight Champion, Dustin Poirier. Additionally, ‘Chaos’ called him a “cu*t” and challenged him for a fight. However, seeing this, the WWE fans took to the internet and expressed how they want Covington in WWE.

The bout between Masvidal and Covington had a lot of grapples from Chaos. Seeing this, the fans advised the former interim champion to join WWE.

Jorge Masvidal recently made a few appearances for Tony Khan’s AEW. So, one fan took to Twitter and implied that he watched a match between AEW and WWE, where he compared Masvidal with AEW and Covington with WWE.

Before their eventual fight at UFC 272, Covington had some words for his opponent at the weigh-ins. And seeing his ‘promo’ skills before the fight, the WWE Universe is convinced that ‘Chaos’ would be a great trash talker in Vince McMahon’s company.
