Brock Lesnar Once Received Unlikely Praise from ‘Hollywood A-Lister,’ Who Had Asked Conor McGregor to Consider WWE

There is no one in the WWE roster then or now who can claim to have been at the top of the UFC, except Brock Lesnar. During his first run with WWE, fans always saw The Beast Incarnate as someone who destroyed the entire roster. While people in the audience and locker room knew what a beast Lesnar was, the general public thought of him as fake because of their attitude towards pro wrestling.

But all of their preconceptions about his ability and skill came tumbling down when the world had a taste of Lesnar inside the Octagon. In just his third match in the UFC, the man won the UFC heavyweight title. Adding that to his legacy, he also defended the title twice before losing it to Cain Velasquez. There was nothing that could stop him from being the true beast capable of taking down giants.

Former WWE Champion praises Brock Lesnar

When The Miz went to a UFC show for a welterweight match, he was asked by an interviewer about WWE wrestlers coming over to the UFC. He replied, “I enjoy MMA. I think it’s always cool whenever a former WWE superstar goes into MMA and Brock Lesnar becomes the champion.”

He continued, “I mean, that’s an homage to WWE. We are entertainment. That is what WWE does and MMA brings another side of entertainment, but I think we are two different companies and both are fantastic, both are great to watch.” It is surprising to see that Miz was admiring the shift that Brock Lesnar took in his career and became a big shot at the UFC.

The Miz is also the one who told a TMZ reporter that he would love to see Conor McGregor in a WWE ring, back in 2017. After all, the UFC star has an interesting personality. His mic skills would translate well into the famous wrestling promotion.

However, he is awaiting a UFC return next year. He is also working on a Hollywood project ‘Road House’.

While McGregor’s WWE aspirations are not really known, there has seen a rise in recent wrestlers in WWE. Logan Paul is an example of a recent addition to WWE.
