Brock Lesnar has never been the typical combat sports athlete. He’s always had an unfiltered, intimidating demeanor. The Beast Incarnate has outsold both the WWE and the UFC in terms of pay-per-view buys. However, he produced one of the greatest PPV purchases in the organization. Dana White chastised him at that time, for his after-match comment.

For those who don’t know, Frank Mir, a former UFC champion, was Lesnar’s opponent in his UFC 81 debut, where he lost. However, Lesnar got his sweet revenge in the historic UFC 100, defeating Mir in the contest.

In addition to being one of the notable PPVs and Lesnar getting his revenge, the night is remembered for Lesnar’s post-fight comments that he made, when speaking with UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan. Notably, this comment forced him to face the wrath of the UFC president.

Brock Lesnar had to deal with Dana White’s fury

Following the match, he stated, Frank Mir had a horseshoe up his a**. I told him that a year ago. I pulled that some b* out I beat him over the head with it. And I love it, I’m gonna go home tonight, I’m gonna drink Coors Light that’s a Coors Light because Bud Light won’t pay me nothing. I’m gonna stay with my friends and family and hell, I might even get on top of my wife see you all later.”

After the fight, Lesnar made fun of UFC sponsor, Bud Light, and commented on it. Consequently, Dana White reprimanded him. Later, in the interview, he publicly apologized. He stated, “First and Foremost, I want to apologize. I acted very unprofessionally after the fight and I leave at that.”

He added, “I apologize to Bud Light. I’m not biased. I drink any beer and tonight I’m drinking Bud Light all night. Man, I was so jacked up. I’m used to selling PPV tickets, okay? I come from the business that was purely entertainment.”

Lesnar did, however, help the business gain fame and sell the most PPVs, thus White had a good connection with him. Notably, Lesnar also benefited handsomely in return, receiving $3 Million from the business. Nevertheless, given his history in pro wrestling, where wrestlers sometimes use unfiltered comments to sell PPV tickets, he definitely came out as being very unprofessional in the UFC for his post-match comments.
