Last week, ‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Big E to earn the right to face the WWE champion at the WWE Day 1 PPV on January 1st, making it a Fatal 4 Way match. And tonight on WWE Raw, MVP boasted this victory in front of the Milwaukee crowd.

He praised his partner and took a dig at the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion- Francis Ngannou.

While addressing the crowd tonight, MVP wanted the WWE Universe to know what kind of Herculean task is it to defeat three champions on the same night, like Lashley did last week.

However, in typical heel fashion, MVP dissed the crowd and called them “pathetic” for not being as athletic as Lashley. The former United States champion said, “None of you people are athletic. You’re pretty pathetic. So you wouldn’t understand what kind of Herculean task it is to win… It is like going five rounds with Francis Ngannou and knocking him out.”

WWE teasing a breakup between Bobby Lashley and MVP?

Now, ever since Bobby Lashley and MVP got together, the stock of Lashley has risen higher than ever. However, on tonight’s segment, it looked like the former champ was ready to throw MVP under a bus.

When Big E also joined the segment between MVP and Lashley, he said that whatever Lashley did was awesome. However, the WWE champion claimed that ‘The Almighty’ always depends on MVP to do the odd jobs.

To this, Lashley confessed that he doesn’t need MVP and he can be a dominating champion all by himself. Now, this line seems enough for the WWE Universe to think that the company might break up the two.

However, given their popularity together, it doesn’t look like it will happen in the future. Eventually, Adam Pearce set a match between Lashley and Big against the team of Rollins and Owens later in the night.
