Owing to his professional achievements, there is often discussion about the prospect of Dwayne Johnson becoming President of the United States. It’s interesting to note that Joe Rogan, who talks about a variety of topics on his immensely popular JRE podcast, including politics, purportedly said that he would be totally in favor of voting for Johnson as a contender for the US presidency.

DJ supported the legendary UFC commentator earlier this year when he was embroiled in a dispute over some remarks made by professionals he invited on his podcast. Subsequently, DJ clarified that he was unaware of the dispute.

Notably, long before things started to go bad, the idea of Johnson running for president was reportedly endorsed by Rogan in 2020.

In JRE episode #1446, Joe Rogan and comedian Bert Kreischer spoke about DJ. Rogan argued that society needed a strong and charismatic leader when times were particularly difficult. In his words, “Once the s*** goes sideways, that’s when you need a really good leader. … You need someone who is honest, when all the bulls*** goes away.”

Further, referring to the pandemic, the commentator said, “When people are worried about that kind of sh*t, you really want someone who has their character in order.”

At this point, his guest made the remark that Johnson, an actor, would be the ideal choice. Rogan replied, “I’d vote for him. I would get behind him 100 percent. I’m all in for The Rock. As good as he is about everything else in life, he’d be great as President.”

Like Rogan, many celebrities backed the concept of The Rock as a President. Meanwhile, the actor has made it clear that he is more interested in spending time with his daughters than being the President despite repeatedly teased about running for office.

He did not, however, permanently shut the door on the presidency and promised to do so again in the future. But he will be away from it for the time being as be would like to focus on his children.
