Logan Paul has been a fan of combat sports for a long time. The YouTuber has even competed in boxing fights and recently signed a deal with WWE and already has two matches to his name. He will next face Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel premium live event for the Undisputed Universal Championship.

Apart from WWE and boxing, Paul is also an MMA fan and has followed the UFC for quite some time. He recently posted a video on Twitter showing him celebrating his friend Sean O’ Malley’s win at UFC 280 over Petr Yan.

Although Logan Paul is yet to venture into UFC, he has a few friends in the promotion. He has also expressed a desire in the past to test himself in the octagon one day. He may not be in UFC right now, but that didn’t stop him from getting excited seeing his friend Sean O’ Malley’s win inside the cage last week.

Logan Paul wildly celebrates Sean O’ Malley’s win

Logan Paul is making a name for himself in combat sports over the years. He famously fought British YouTuber KSI in boxing matches two years in a row. He also competed against boxing icon Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match. The Maverick has admitted that he has been a lifelong fan of combat sports, having watched UFC regularly while growing up.

He has also thought about dipping his toes into the UFC over the years, which may be a bit far off right now. Still, he got in to celebrate after Sean O’Malley won against Petr Yan in a closely fought contest at UFC 280.

Paul posted a video on Twitter where he celebrates wildly after Sean O’Malley won the fight. Paul jumped in excitement and yelled, “Yes! F**k yes! Sean, oh my God.” He captioned the tweet as “I F***ING LOVE YOU SEAN O’MALLEY.”

Moreover, the YouTuber made a further tweet and wrote that he was proud of his friend after this win. Paul tweeted, “btw I didn’t win any money on this fight. just insanely proud of my friend.”

The bout between O’Malley and Yan went for three rounds, with O’Malley declared the winner after a split decision. This also means that O’Malley is UFC’s number one ranked bantamweight fighter.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul also recorded a win of his own defeating MMA legend Anderson Silva in a boxing match by unanimous decision. Logan Paul will hope to follow his friend and his brother in recording a historic win. He will face Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship on November 5 in Saudi Arabia.
