During the mid-2000s, several WWE stars and WCW wrestlers joined TNA wrestling. It became one of the most recognized wrestling companies in a short while. One of the WWE stars who went there was Kurt Angle and recently he answered what if John Cena had joined TNA.

On the recent ‘Ask Kurt Anything’ episode of The Kurt Angle podcast, the WWE legend got a surprising question. The fan’s question was what if ‘The Cenation Leader’ had joined TNA right after ‘The Olympic Hero’? Also, would WWE allow Cena to do so?

The former four-time WWE Champion said, “Well, listen John Cena would have made as much of an impact as I did in TNA. But if we both would’ve came there that would’ve changed the face of wrestling, I really believe that. I honestly believe that John Cena coming to TNA would have probably changed the face.”

He added, “I think that he had such a huge name, he would had a huge impact immediately like I did. I don’t know if he’d had more of an impact, maybe? Maybe not, but John Cena was really talented and what he’s done in WWE is unparalleled.”

Furthermore, Angle also stated that WWE had no right to tell Cena about joining any company once he left from there. However, the main question the 54-year-old had was would the Fast X actor had done that.
