When Serena Williams & Dwayne Johnson Shared a “Weird” & “Silly” Habit Involving Their “Brain”

Dwayne Johnson is a busy person and rarely gets any time to himself except the time he works out. He runs several businesses and has multiple movie projects which keep his time invested for most of the 24 hours.

However, did you know The Rock has a habit similar to the tennis legend Serena Williams?

A year ago, in 2021, Dwayne Johnson, in an interview with CNBC Make It, shared his love for meditating. Apart from that, he shared that when he gets quiet time to make his brain feel fresh from all the daily hustle.

Johnson said, “I used to [meditate]. In essence, it’s meditating, but it’s just really quiet time and just having a moment where I really just shut off my brain,”

He added, “That sweet window of about 11 p.m. to about 1 a.m. in my world, in my household, where everything is so quiet. Babies are asleep. Everyone’s asleep.”

Surprisingly, the WWE legend isn’t only the one to have this meditating pattern. Back in 2020, Serena Williams told CNBC Make It, “Something I do every day is [to] completely turn my brain off, which sounds weird but because I work so much…. But it’s a lot so I just need to turn my brain off and not think about anything.”

Williams added, “Sometimes it’s meditation. Sometimes it’s watching a program [on TV] that has nothing to do with anything, like something that is silly or fun.”

It seems meditation is a part of Johnson and Williams’ tremendous success. They have a unique way of making their brain feel fresh. Furthermore, DJ also shared about his workouts also being a part of his meditations.

The Rock is a person who always pays his gratitude to the fans after they declare his films a box office hit. Similarly, DJ thanked all of his fans through a video for giving their love for Black Adam through Instagram.

The WWE legend said, “Thank guys so much for, so Black Adam, for the third weekend in a row you guys have made Black Adam the number one movie in the world. Let me underscore that line – You guys have made Black Adam for the third weekend the number-one movie in the world. Man, that is hard to do, it’s hard to have a number one movie in the world for one weekend.”

Furthermore, he thanked the fans for making the character a household name today. The Great One shared how nobody knew Black Adam and The Justice Society of America a year ago.
