“You Know Where to Find Me” – When Swimming Legend Michael Phelps Called Out Dwayne Johnson Before His Final Olympic Games in 2016

Dwayne Johnson is a star whose popularity reaches beyond wrestling and Hollywood. His immense popularity has helped him to make the acquaintance of the biggest stars in both the sporting world and the entertainment industry. One such friend of The Rock is the swimming legend Michael Phelps. Phelps has previously collaborated with the WWE legend to promote his movie Baywatch. However, the stars were also seen challenging each other on social media a few years ago.

In 2016, retired American swimmer Michael Phelps called out Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on all social media platforms. He shared a picture of doing one arm dumbbell row with a caption calling out ‘The Great One’.

Phelps wrote, “When you’re in Tempe you know where to find me @therock !! Bring it on!! @kkrirsh”

This was the time Phelps was training for the 2016 Rio Olympics, which was his last one. Hence, the picture is from his training for the event. He was in Tempe training at the time. Moreover, the most decorated Olympian also tagged one of his swimming coaches, Keenan Robinson in the post.

However, a year later after this post in 2017, ‘The Great One’ and the ‘Flying Fish’ did a short video promoting the movie Baywatch. It was a funny scene in which DJ teaches Phelps the basics of swimming and how to be a good lifeguard. 

The Baltimore Bullet is seen giving several tests to join the Baywatch cast. Nevertheless, The Rock and Phelps have had a great friendship since then.

Dwayne Johnson once got trolled for his bulging veins with a Phelps comparison 

The Rock has a great body, which is a result of him hitting the gym for years. Moreover, while working out, all the veins appear on his body, which we have seen in the pictures he shares in Instagram. Once Johnson got trolled in hilarious fashion for having bulging veins. The funniest jabs in the article were when it was indirectly mentioned that Michael Phelps can swim in his veins.
