From the beginning of today’s premium live event, Orton was missing. The WWE Universe was beginning to lose hope. Therefore, when his music hit, he entered the ring as the 5th member of Cody Rhodes‘ team, and the Chicago crowd went wild. They popped so hard it was deafening.
With Orton’s return, Team Rhodes solidified its win by completely annihilating Team Judgment Day. Every member of Team Rhodes got their chance to savor the win as they destroyed their opponents one by one. It didn’t take long for Team Rhodes to pick up the victory after Orton entered the ring.
Orton RKO-ed his way to victory for his team
Before Orton’s arrival, Team Judgement Day was dominating Team Rhodes. Even Damian Priest was so close to cashing in on his Money in the Bank contract and stripping Seth Rollins of his World Heavyweight Championship. But just as he was about to do so, Orton’s music hit, fading away all of Priest’s dreams to become the champion.

As Orton came out from the backstage, Team Judgment Day was surprised to see him there. This created a much-needed distinction, allowing Team Rhodes to regroup. As ‘The Apex Predator’ entered the ring, the momentum of the match shited and Team Rhodes gained full control of the match.
After a few minutes, RKO came out of nowhere and caught Dominik Mysterio by surprise. He was the first to get the blow. Then JD McDonagh also became a victim of one, but it was more brutal. Seeing himself cornered from every angle, McDonagh tried to escape the steel cage by climbing over it.

However, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins prevented it. They threw him down on the ring, causing him to land on the mat after taking an RKO from ‘The Viper’. Soon after, Team Rhodes won the match.
