Randy Orton finally made his much-awaited return to WWE. Despite being out of action for over a year, “The Viper” didn’t forget what makes him absolutely iconic inside the ring. Even though he dominated the ring as soon as he entered the ring, the best spot came in closer to the end of the WarGames match.

Randy Orton with his winning move

The WWE legend arrived at the scene all prepared. Even though the tide once appeared to be turning against his team, the babyfaces helped themselves up to rally back against Judgment Day. When JD McDonagh was the only upright member of his team in the ring, he tried to escape the cage by climbing out of it.

Much to his surprise, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins caught him at the top, only to throw him back to the ground. Orton used this opportunity to catch the Irish wrestler in mid-air and RKO’d him down.

This spot eventually led to his team scoring the win over the heel faction. Even though the rest of the team has the credit for surviving the whole WarGame and facing a dreaded faction for an elongated period, Orton’s comeback cannot be ignored.

Now that he is finally here, the one thing to pay attention to is where Orton’s WWE run may lead him. One immediate guess would be the wrestler going against his old foe.

Is Randy Orton to face Jey Uso next?

When “Mr. Survivor Series” returned to WWE, the promotion could’ve ignored his past storylines. However, the creative department insisted on keeping it alive. This was the first hint that Orton may come back to continue where he left off. Even after he entered the ring, the 43-year-old could be seen telling Jey Uso that he remembers their past.

So, the Stamford-based company may focus on the tension between the two wrestlers for a while following Survivor Series. However, since Jey Uso is now being portrayed as a changed man, their rivalry may not go on for a long time and could just be an extension of the Samoan star’s ‘redemption’ arc.

As for Orton, WWE may try to push him for a title run or even have him lead a faction alongside Rhodes and Uso, resulting in tag team and six-man tag matches.
