EXCLUSIVE: Despite Teasing Managerial Stint, Jinder Mahal Teases Surprise Opponent for Potential Retirement Fight in Front of Indian Fans

It’s been 6 long months since fans got to see ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal wrestle in the ring. But tonight, fans in Hyderabad might finally get to witness the wrath of the Ex-WWE Champion.

In an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, Jinder Mahal expressed his urge to get in the ring tonight to unleash chaos.

Jinder Mahal seeks a worthy opponent for the blockbuster show in India

The last time Jinder Mahal wrestled in the ring was in February at NXT. He battled Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship in vain. Post that he has been in a managerial role promoting the tag team of Indus Sher whom he wants to be the next WWE Tag Team champions.

But the magnitude of the show in India has intensified his feelings as well as he too wants to get into the ring in front of his die-hard Indian fans.

While talking exclusively to Essentially Sports, he emphasized that he will only enter the ring tonight if he finds a worthy opponent. He said, “Maybe tonight, I have my boots with me, maybe maybe. I’m trying to find an opponent. I’m trying to make some challenges. At first, I was just gonna do some managing for Indus Sher, but seeing everybody it got me excited, and luckily I’m in shape, I’m fit, I have my gear with me, so I’m gonna try having a match tonight”.

Fans are super excited that they will finally get to see their Modern Day Maharaja do what he does best, lay waste to his opponent!
