Wrestling matches are always full of surprises, sometimes they seem to be pleasant, but most times it is frightening. While the pleasant ones make everyone involved happy, the terrible ones can seriously hurt the wrestler. One of the worst accidents in an ongoing match for a wrestler is a wardrobe malfunction, and Charlotte Flair just suffered through one at SummerSlam.

Luckily for Flair, the referee of the match immediately came to Flair’s rescue. But what exactly happened and how did the referee help Flair in the middle of the match?

Charlotte suffered through a horrible wardrobe malfunction at SummerSlam

During her WWE Women’s Championship match with Bianca Belair and Asuka, Flair was in control. Shoving both her opponents to the turnbuckle, Flair abruptly lay on the ring for a little while longer than usual. This struck as unusual to many fans. But this had a genuine reason as Flair had suffered through a wardrobe malfunction.

The Queen rose up quickly and told the referee, Jessica Carr about it. While Flair’s gear was being fixed by Carr, her two opponents, unaware of the situation were stunned at the turnbuckle. But the two quickly recovered as Asuka tried to apply her Asuka lock on Belair which gave Flair the time to recover from her malfunction.
