WWE is currently on its UK tour, and it has arguably been a spectacular spectacle so far. Performing for a 16,000-strong crowd in London for a house show, the entire WWE roster is having a gala time, especially Drew McIntyre. Recipient of the Slammy Awards for his social media work, McIntyre has made sure to keep it going.
During WWE’s latest house show in London, Drew McIntyre would come face to face with a certain English soccer great and Manchester United legend. However, instead of lauding him for his greatness, McIntyre opted to troll him brutally. Former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo‘s forward partner Wayne Rooney appeared at the London WWE house show and was met with the Scotsman’s incessant trolling.

Wayne Rooney once again had a chance encounter with another United Kingdom homeboy. The Scottish Psychopath would spot Rooney enjoying the house show from the front and proceed to take a dig at his current look. Both Rooney and McIntyre are 38, however, both look vividly different.
After retiring from soccer, the former Manchester United captain would take a different approach with his physique and looks. Rooney now looks much more mature and experienced as a player-turned-manager. After taking shots at him on the show, McIntyre would continue the same on the internet as well.
McIntyre would go on X and write, “I’m the same age as @WayneRooney… What happened to you fella?” Wayne Rooney would take the troll in a sporting manner, and laugh his heart out during the live show. Trash talking is a part of pro wrestling, and heels are known for their interactions with the fans.
