WWE is leaving no stone unturned in making the upcoming WrestleMania 39 spectacle a massive success. And the WWE Golden title has emerged as a great way to generate quite the buzz among fans. The belt has been around the waists of some famous personalities in recent times.
And it is no different this time around as well. The custom-made title has navigated its way through to a famous soccer team in the MLS.
The LA Galaxy soccer club currently has possession of the title. WWE confirmed it via a Twitter post. Fans saw goalkeeper Eric Lopez stopping shots with the help of the belt. He then says at the end of the video, “The WWE Golden Title is Galaxy Tested”.

It is quite clear from the negative response that fans are quite unhappy with the treatment that the belt is getting from its new holders. But it would not matter a jot to WWE, as at the end of the day they are successful in creating engagement on social media. It’s common knowledge that the Showcase of The Immortals will take place in Hollywood this time around. And what better way than to bet on a nearby popular sports franchise?
LA Galaxy garnered worldwide attention when it was announced in 2007 that soccer icon David Beckham would be joining the club. The former English captain had two separate stints with the Los Angeles-based club. The MLS side is among a long list of celebrities that have had the golden strap.
