WWE SmackDown Results: Mustafa Ali Lashes Out at WWE Universe Following Defeat to Drew McIntyre

29th October 2021: SmackDown’s first match-up of the night was Drew McIntyre’s open challenge. The SmackDown Warrior had issued an open challenge in the previous episode, and Sami Zayn answered it.

The former WWE champion entered the ring and addressed the audience, telling them he was in an ‘a** kicking’ mood tonight. He issued another open challenge, and the crowd cheered on for him. He dropped the mic and waited for his opponent, who turned out to be Mustafa Ali.

Mustafa Ali was booed as he strutted down the ring and started talking trash against Drew.

Ali said, “You’re big, you’re bad….but I am better.” He continued his trash talk and said he has more athleticism in his one finger than Drew does in his whole body. He called himself quicker and more agile.

Fans, once again, booed Mustafa Ali as he entered through the ropes. These soon turned into a string of chants, screaming “You suck!” at the former Cruiserweight.

When Ali’s trash-talking ended, the bell rang; both men had a face-off. The match progressed quickly as both wrestlers were on the offensive front.

A few kicks, punches, and a 450 splash later, the former WWE champion overpowered Ali and secured a Kimura Lock to secure the win.

After Mustafa Ali tapped, fans cheered for McIntyre while the former looked distraught.

Ali took the mic and revealed that people cheered for Drew and rooted against him just because of his name. Fans booed louder as Ali dropped the mic and walked away.
