This week on SmackDown (7/2), even Karma could not bring Sami Zayn ‘justice.’ He and former best friend Kevin Owens took part in a highly physical ‘Last Man Standing match’ to determine a spot for the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Owens started dominating Zayn early in the match. Owens threw him over the barrier as Zayn dropped him on the LED boards. KO and Zayn both slammed each other over the announce table.

Owens also used two tables on the ringside and tried to slam Zayn onto it. Later on, both men slammed onto tables. The match had several close counts when the Superstars stood up at 7 or even 9.

However, KO won the match as he planted Zayn with back-to-back strikes. Owens first used a stunner, then two big power bombs onto the announce table and the table on the ringside.

Owens dragged Sami Zayn with his beard and slammed him on the apron with another powerbomb. After these, Zayn was unable to stand up, and Owens got the win.

The former Universal champion is now a confirmed participant in the MITB ladder match alongside Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle, Drew McIntyre, and Big E.
