WWE is bracing itself for one of its oldest pay-per-views at the end of this month. The 34th Survivor Series will witness champions from both RAW and SmackDown go against each other. As there are separate titles for the tag teams of RAW and SmackDown, The Street Profits from SmackDown will face The New Day from Raw.

On this week’s SmackDown, the Street Profits faced the former champions, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, in a non-title match. Although they are new to the blue brand, it seemed Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins found their ground sooner than we expected.

Towards the end of the match, Dawkins climbed up top for a superplex on Nakamura. Montez Ford followed it up with a massive Frog Splash to Nakamura for the pin and the victory.

WWE Tag Team Titles were exchanged between the Street Profits and The New Day

In a strange turn of events, WWE Draft made both brands’ tag team champions shift to the other. Previously, title disputes like these would be settled in a match. However, this time it was different.

WWE official Adam Pearce decided to act in “the most logical” way, and he made the champions exchange their titles as they were literally headed in different directions. Although Kofi Kingston was a bit skeptical, the exchange was successful, and the titles went back to their respective brands.

In the last episode of Raw, The New Day made fun of The Street Profits as they copied them. The Street Profits retorted as they said, “mimicry is the highest form of flattery.” The clash between the two teams and the spat they share along the way will surely be something to look forward to.
