The Tribal Chief of SmackDown seems to be in a good mood before this week’s episode. In a recent Instagram post, Roman Reigns trolled Baron Corbin aka King Corbin.

On his Instagram account, Corbin revealed that he crashed into some bushes while cycling. That was not the end of poor Corbin’s woes as  Reigns and Nia Jax both made fun of his situation.

Reigns said, “On your back… Just like at work!” and Nia dropped some laughing emojis. Reigns is obviously referring to Corbin’s failure to win last week’s Gauntlet match. See the banter below –

Corbin has also trolled Roman before. Reigns posted a workout video on Instagram where Corbin commented and the two indulged in some heated back and forth. Taking the fun to another level, R-Truth joined in the comment section as well.

Reigns and Corbin had a brief rivalry right after Corbin won King of the Ring. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced the rivalry to become short-lived.

Roman Reigns has dominance on his mind

With the help of his cousin Jey Uso and ‘advisor’ Paul Heyman, Reigns is invincible. He has defeated every challenger till now.

With the purity and dominance of his bloodline in mind, ‘The Big Dog’ is making SmackDown his ‘island.’ Whoever is trying to challenge him is facing the consequences of his transgressions.

Last week, former NWA champion and current WWE official, Adam Pearce, officiated a gauntlet match to determine the next contender for the Universal Title. Reigns felt insulted with this whole debacle and pulled some strings to get Pearce into the match.

Not only did he ‘make’ Pearce won the match but with that, he made sure no one ever questions his leadership. On the next episode of SmackDown, Reigns and Pearce will have a one-on-one confrontation.

Coming back to Corbin, after Reigns is done with Pearce, Corbin seems like the next big opponent. The duo has some unfinished bad blood between them, and they would like nothing more than to settle it in the ring.
