Nothing can take the WWE Universe’s breath away other than changing the main event of a big PPV. In WWE, it’s nothing new as well. When wrestlers don’t show up, the events will have to be changed.

And if the news released before SmackDown is to be believed, Brock Lesnar has walked out of the arena. Leading to rumors of Goldberg or other major superstars filling up for Lesnar in the main event against Roman Reigns.

These rumors are firing up as Vince McMahon has just announced his retirement. Also, it was announced that Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan would be taking over as co-CEOs. But at the end of the day, that did not happen as Brock Lesnar showed up and cleaned the house.

Before WWE SmackDown went on air, WWE announced that Brock Lesnar is going to make an appearance this Friday. But when the dirt sheet for this week’s show got leaked, there was no mention of Lesnar.

Additionally, news circulated that Lesnar had walked out of WWE. On top of that, Vince McMahon‘s retirement news also covered the pro wrestling world. This led to people speculating about Lesnar’s walking out because of Vince’s retirement.

But in the main event, it was Theory and The Usos vs The Street Profits and Madcap Moss in a six-man tag match. When Theory used his Money in the Bank briefcase to end the match in a DQ. But to save the day, Lesnar’s music hits and he strolls into the ring. Giving him 2 F5s and some shots with the briefcase, SmackDown ended with Lesnar standing tall.

When people said Brock Lesnar was not going to show up on SmackDown, Twitter flooded with angry fans. But they all took to silence when Lesnar showed just like this fan pointed out.

Being worked is a term used when wrestling fans are told rumors, but WWE or other promotions flip the script and shock the fans.

This fan made a very educated guess, Lesnar walking out of SmackDown just to get a burger from outside and then returning.

While we have always known Brock Lesnar as a temporary WWE talent, this time everyone was hoping to see Lesnar like this fan.

As mentioned before, dirt sheets were wrong because of a lot of news flooding the pro wrestling circuit.
