Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns both perform on the SmackDown brand of WWE. The history of Rollins and Reigns runs really long as they both have fought alongside and against each other.

Following FCW’s renaming as NXT, Rollins had the honor of claiming the first-ever NXT Championship. He made his main roster debut at the Survivor Series in 2012 with The Shield. Notably, the Shield comprised Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns.

His first ever main roster championship came along with Roman Reigns when the duo lifted the WWE Tag Team Championship. The faction enjoyed some success over the years, winning fights and challenging heavyweight names across the years.

However, things changed drastically in 2014 when Rollins turned on Ambrose and Reigns. Tension developed between Rollins and Reigns, and the feud between the two took off. In their first match against each other, Reigns had to withdraw following an injury.
