The latest edition of SmackDown started with Roman Reigns and his “counselor” Paul Heyman walking to the ring. Since their return to WWE, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman haven’t officially addressed the WWE Universe. This week on SmackDown, the wish was fulfilled.
Similarly to his time with Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman started the proceedings. Heyman cut a brilliant promo describing his alliance with Roman Reigns and the main reason behind it.
“Roman’s REIGN as your champion has always been defined by … family, tradition, legacy … and that is who this champion is.” – @HeymanHustle#SmackDown @WWERomanReigns pic.twitter.com/b6nYQS61nh

Soon, The ‘Big Dog’ grabbed the microphone and said he was a man of his word. The Powerhouse did what he said he would do at Payback – sign the contract, wreck The Fiend, wreck The Monster, and then leave… as the Universal Champion.
The Big Dog said he doesn’t care who he faces Clash of Champions, WWE can line them up and feed them all to him. Reigns bragged that when you have his power, all you need to do is show up and win.
