On tonight’s SmackDown (5/21/21), the Blue Brand welcomed its champions with a champion’s parade. However, Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ associate, Paul Heyman, did not forget to remind everyone of the “Tribal Chief” and his greatness.
Following the event, WWE on Fox posted a split-screen comparison of Reigns and his cousin Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The latter was with Gene Auckland and Roman was with Heyman.
Fox captioned the image as “Same energy,” but Paul Heyman refused to agree. He wrote, “Roman Reigns is a much better champion and even bigger mega box office attraction.”

This is the first time Heyman has openly commented on the comparison between the two Superstars. WWE Superstar Braun Strowman also commented on the situation with a simple, “Eh.”
Roman Reigns appeared on the Blue Brand this week in a non-competitive role. He addressed the crowd following his victory against Cesaro and tried to brainwash Jey Uso against Jimmy Uso. Let’s discuss this in detail.
What did Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman do on SmackDown this week?
During the opening segment, Paul Heyman appeared in the champion’s parade on Reigns’ behalf. He blatantly termed all the champions as mere “title holders.”
Reigns is “THE champion, the preeminent champions, of all of WWE, and all of sports entertainment.” Heyman also said that Reigns would have a Parade of True Champions later in the night.
On the said segment, Reigns told the audience that he was too humble to sing his own praise and asked his Special Counsel to celebrate him. Heyman then went on to describe Reigns’ undefeated streak against various opponents like The Fiend, Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Edge, Daniel Bryan, and Cesaro.
Reigns then wanted Heyman to bring out his cousin Jimmy Uso, but Cesaro appeared instead. The ‘Swiss Cyborg’ wanted to face Reigns at Hell in a Cell. However, that segment ended with Seth Rollins attacking Cesaro.

In the last segment featuring Reigns, he and Jey Uso spoke about the Uso Twins’ match against The Street Profits next week. Jey said he had nothing to do with it, while Roman pointed out only he and Jey comprised a team (“we“). He hugged him, whispered something in his ear, and walked away.
