Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown (26/3/21). Following the match, Rollins attacked Nakamura and the latter’s former Tag Team partner Cesaro rushed in to save him.

Subsequently, Cesaro toyed around with Rollins before going in for the infamous Swing. But Rollins retaliated before that could happen and escaped backstage.

There, Rollins told Kayla Braxton that he was tired of the disrespect from Cesaro. The former World Champion then challenged Cesaro to a match at WrestleMania 37.

Not only would he teach the Swiss a lesson in respect, but Cesaro would also think twice before using the Swing. However, Cesaro appeared out of nowhere and attacked Rollins.

WWE later announced that this match will take place on Night 1 during the two-night event. Previously, in an interview with TalkSport, the ‘Swiss Superman’ had revealed how excited he was to potentially face Rollins.

Cesaro stated, “You know, it always comes down to that combination of wrestling and entertainment and between me and Seth Rollins, there is plenty to go around and we can do both.”

“We can have an awesome spectacle and an awesome wrestling match and a fun story leading into it–that whole prospect to me is just so exciting.

“To have the build and the singles match… to have people excited for it, to have a good wrestling match and to have fun, it’s the whole package! It gets me excited just talking about it!”
