Lars Sullivan made his long-awaited return
Lars Sullivan underwent knee surgery in June 2019. At the time, his return was not expected to happen until this year. Before the severe injury, it was rumored that he was in line for a huge push.
Unfortunately, an injury sidelined him for the next 6-9 months. This made fans speculate that he will be back in time for WrestleMania. In fact, he had been posting workout videos since February. He was probably not medically cleared after the career-threatening injury.

Before the injury, he got a massive push as a heel and feuded with the likes of Hardy Boyz and Rey Mysterio on Raw. After his transfer to SmackDown, he feuded with Lucha House Party and got injured.
Hopefully, WWE will use Sullivan efficiently and not waste his talents like many NXT Superstars before him.
