Fans are well aware of the friendships between former WWE superstar CJ “Lana” Perry and other superstars. Ahead of Money in the Bank PPV, the Ravishing Russian sends a positive message to one of her friends in the company.

The Money in the Bank ladder match this year features eight women, four from each brand. The contenders are Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Naomi, Nikki Cross A.S.H, Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan, Natalya and, Tamina.

Originally, Carmella was in the match. However, she challenged SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair last Friday after the previous number one contender Bayley got injured.

Lana has a wonderful friendship with almost all of these women. However, her words went out to the former member of the Riott Squad, Liv Morgan.

Morgan posted a throwback picture early on Sunday, captioned, “July 16th, 2019 July 16th, 2021 Never give up.” Lana retweeted the photo and said, “Never Give Up. Passionately chase the big dreams. Proud of you.”

After proving herself again and again with repeated victories on SmackDown, Liv Morgan was still not a part of the MITB ladder match. After Carmella got to face Bianca, Morgan came out on SmackDown and confronted WWE Official Sonya Deville.

Then Sonya gave Carmella’s spot to Liv, and finally, the latter was eligible for the match. Later on, WWE announced Tamina as SmackDown and Money in the Bank women’s ladder match’s final contender.

Apart from Lana, WWE Universe supported a tearful Liv Morgan on SmackDown last Friday

During a commercial break on SmackDown last Friday, Megan Morant interviewed Liv Morgan. The segment did not air at first but WWE later added it as a “network exclusive” on YouTube.

The Show was WWE SmackDown’s first live show in 70 weeks. A tearful Morgan hit back at the haters that she hard worked to get where she was and it was not luck.

“I have worked and fought week after week to prove that I’m ready, willing and quite capable of winning that Money in the Bank briefcase,” Morgan said while holding back her tears.

“I think it’s time that I finally get what I deserve. And trust me Megan, luck has absolutely nothing to do with it,” said Morgan amidst a huge “You Deserve It” chant. “This weekend, the WWE Universe is finally and fully going to Watch Me,” Morgan concluded.
