Will Daniel Bryan be back on the blue brand this week?
Yes! Yes! Yes!
The Grand Slam Champion will make his WWE ThunderDome debut on the SmackDown season premiere Friday night. What will Bryan have to say in his return to the bright lights on FOX?
Daniel Bryan will return after five long months
Since Royal Rumble 2020, Bryan has been very irregular on WWE TV. The reasons could be the COVID-19 pandemic and the birth of a second child. The latter meant that Bryan had to be more careful as it could put the health of his newborn in danger.
Post the PPV, he was in a rivalry with Drew Gulak, who claimed that he found flaws in Bryan’s game. However, on the March 13 episode of SmackDown, the two joined forces.
Later that month, Daniel Bryan earned an Intercontinental Championship shot against Sami Zayn at WrestleMania. Unfortunately, Bryan finished second place.
However, he never stopped his pursuit of the Intercontinental championship. In the month of may, Bryan entered another Intercontinental Championship tournament after Sami Zayn went back to Canada due to COVID issues.

Bryan went past Drew Gulak and Sheamus in the quarter and semi-final, respectively. However, he lost the final to AJ Styles and hasn’t been seen since then.
