Tonight’s SmackDown (6/4/21) kicked off with the title match between Jimmy and Jey Usos and The SmackDown Tag Team champions Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The match also commemorated WWE’s 50-year celebration of the first-ever tag team victory.
The Usos had a lot at stake. Ahead of the match, their cousin and Universal Champion Roman Reigns reminded the brothers that their entire family would be watching. Reigns told the brothers to bring him the titles once the match is over.
The match started at a fast pace as Dominik and Jimmy Uso went against each other. It almost went in Uso’s favor until the last moment.

Jimmy went for the Uso Splash, following a super-kick on Dominik, but the latter put his foot up. Then, the major botch happened as Dominik rolled Jimmy up for the pin and victory.
However, as shown in the post-match replay, the referee made a mistake as Jimmy Uso kicked out in plenty of time. The camera panned back to backstage as Roman asked Paul Heyman to bring the Usos back to him.

Roman Reigns tells Jimmy and Jey Uso to fix the ‘mess’ on WWE SmackDown
The Uso twins tried to explain to the Tribal Chief what happened in the ring. But Reigns was not having any of it. Reigns chided them about losing to a child and embarrassing their family.
He wanted The Usos to approach WWE officials and get the mistakes fixed tonight itself. The matter was now personal to the entire family bloodline.

The Usos then found WWE officials, Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. While they first rejected their pleas, Sonya said they would look into the situation and take necessary actions.
The officials then swiftly went to the Mysterios just in time, as the champs were just leaving the building. Deville informed the champs about the situation and said the father-son duo would need to have a second match to settle the scores.
