With WrestleMania 39 just a few hours away, fans cannot wait anymore. The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes finally might complete his unfinished story. He is scheduled to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 Day 2 main event.

Ever since Rhodes returned to WWE last year, he has been on a high tide. From winning his returning match against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins to defeating his pectoral injury, and returning before time to win the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble. Cody Rhodes has done it all. However, he is yet to win the World title.

Rhodes would cut an emotional promo about finishing the story his father started last year after he returned. His father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes, is one of the greatest in-ring wrestlers. However, he never won the WWE World title, and neither did Cody’s brother Goldust.

After winning the 2023 Royal Rumble, Rhodes would ignite the hopes of him capturing the world title in his fan’s minds. However, the roofs of fans’ excitement were blown away, when a picture from the 2023 Hall of Fame event started making the rounds.

The picture showed Cody Rhodes sitting beside Triple H and sharing a wholesome laugh with him. Nevertheless, fans were excited to see Rhodes happy, and seated beside The Game Triple H. They were excited as the photo became public and started discussing his winning chances.

As the go-home show for WWE SmackDown came to an end, and the Hall of Fame 2023 event began, pictures started doing rounds on the internet. And one such picture showed Cody Rhodes sharing a joyous moment with Triple H.

Fans were left excited at the picture, and they started teasing at it being a hint of Rhodes winning against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. While Rhodes might win at ‘Mania and complete his unfinished story, Roman Reigns might also retain owing to his big-match experience.

WWE fans are now on the edge of their seats awaiting to see what unfolds at WrestleMania. However, Roman Reigns has been holding onto his gold for more than 940 days now. Additionally, fans are now in confusion about whether WWE would have Reigns hold on to the titles for 1000 days, or let Rhodes finish his story at ‘Mania.

However, the Night 2 main event between The Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare is bound to sweep the charts, and have the fans hooked onto their television screens.
