In a shocking turn of events, WWE and UFC Legend Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam. The Beast Incarnate showed up right after the Roman Reigns vs John Cena bout was over.
Amidst thunderous applause, Lesnar got to the ring and stared down The Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns and his special counsel Paul Heyman looked on in disbelief.
As Heyman is also the former advocate of Lesnar, there is bound to be some tension. Reigns and Heyman promptly left the ring after Lesnar returned. Soon the event went off-air.

Why is Brock Lesnar back in WWE?
Fans last saw Lesnar back in early 2020. His last appearance for WWE was at WrestleMania 36 when he lost his WWE title to Drew McIntyre. Since then, Lesnar did not appear on ThunderDome or any other closed-door event.
Last year, it was rumored that Lesnar had left WWE, and his profile was moved back to WWE’s Alumni Section. However, a few months ago, Lesnar’s profile was moved back into WWE’s RAW roster.
This action gave rise to many stipulations. But we can attribute Lesnar’s return to two major factors. One of them is the live audience. WWE welcomed their audience back to their shows from SmackDown before Money in the Bank.
As the live audience was back, the likes of John Cena, and Becky Lynch also came back as a way to garner more audience. Lesnar too has a huge following throughout all sectors of combat sports, his return will definitely be beneficial for WWE’s ticket sales and viewership.

Another reason for this could be WWE’s growing competition in AEW. Right after SmackDown last Friday, AEW almost broke the internet when they brought back CM Punk. Millions of WWE fans will now also tune into Wednesday and Friday’s AEW shows.
As a way solution to combat this, WWE brought out their ‘Paul Heyman guy’ and Punk’s old rival the very next day, in front of 50,000 people.
