Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross at Clash of Champions this Sunday. However, she hasn’t forgotten about Sasha Banks and is keeping a keen eye on her.

On the latest edition of SmackDown, Bayley walked out to the ring with her new best friend i.e. the steel chair. The champ didn’t even bother to go to the ring; she sat on her steel chair at the entrance stage.

Beginning her promo, Bayley said that she could watch the video where she destroyed Banks all day. However, being a champion, she was very busy and had no time to waste over “crybaby” Sasha Banks.

She then turned her attention to her number one contender Nikki Cross and threatened her using Banks as an example. As per Bayley, a similar fate awaited Cross.

She promised to start by slapping the smile off Cross’s face. Bayley ended her segment by taking another dig at Banks, making it perfectly clear that Cross was just a transition opponent.

Last week on SmackDown, Sasha Banks sat down for an interview for the first time since the brutal assault by Bayley. Banks revealed she heard every reason Bayley stated for attacking her.

She looked back at the successful summer she had with her then best friend. An emotional Sasha Banks said that if the walls could talk, they would tell Bayley.

The Boss then claimed Bayley is nothing without her, promising to take away the one thing Bayley loves the most i.e. the SmackDown women’s championship.

A huge Sasha Banks and Bayley rivalry is on the cards post Clash of Champions. If it is even close to their rivalry in NXT, we are in for a treat.
