Current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley, has had the longest reign ever with the belt. She is currently a little caught up with her feud with former best friend Sasha Banks, but she hopes to bounce back soon. She defended her title on SmackDown this week.

Before that, Bayley spoke to Sports Illustrated and gave her thoughts on her next possible feud. She has surely watched out for some of the promising NXT Talents, and spoke about one woman in particular.

When asked if she is willing to take a break after her long reign, Bayley laughed the possibility off and said, “I still have a lot left to do, a lot to accomplish, and a lot of girls to beat up. Bianca Belair is on top of that list. There’s plenty of time for me to make more history.”

However, WWE’s EST might have to wait for a while as the champion has some unfinished business. After she regained her title via disqualification this week on SmackDown, Bayley was ecstatic. However, her happiness didn’t last long as Banks challenged her to a Cage match at the upcoming Hell in a Cell.

“Now starts the hard work. Now is the time to prove everyone wrong. People think this honeymoon stage is going to end. They’re thinking, ‘Bayley has a good run.’ But this isn’t the end; it’s the beginning.”

Bayley reveals which female Superstars have impressed her the most

Apart from Bianca Belair, Bayley noticed Shotzi Blackheart of NXT. She revealed they were from the same area but never wrestled before NXT.

“Shotzi [Blackheart] has really stood out to me. She’s someone I knew from the Bay Area. She trained in the same area as I did, but I never really wrestled her until that NXT match.

“Her performance in that gauntlet match, and now she’s hosting “Halloween Havoc,” and she has her own tank. NXT, as a whole, has stepped up.”

Apart from the new talents and Banks, Bayley thinks Raw Women’s Champion Asuka has really stepped her game. She holds immense respect for Asuka and said, “There is a reason why she is where she is and why she’s been doing it for so long.” 

Coming back to the possible Bianca and Bayley rivalry, Bianca may have gotten drafted to the Blue Brand, but the equation could change if Bayley gets transferred to Raw on Monday.
