A very special match coming to 2k24

While WWE Games have been dropping some major hints ahead of the game’s big reveal on January 22, 2024, the company has seemingly dropped a hint for a very special match that might be playable in the game. WWE Games tweeted a picture of the famous nWo t-shirt on their X (formerly Twitter) account. While many thought that it could be a nod to the famous heel faction, there is another possibility that fans want to happen.

The image could be a nod to the fan-favorite Firefly Funhouse match from WWE WrestleMania 36. The match featured John Cena and Bray Wyatt and many remember it to be an absolutely bonkers match. During the fight, Cena even wore the nWo t-shirt for a brief moment. It could be possible that 2K Games, the publisher of the video game might want to add this special match as a tribute to late star Bray Wyatt.
